Vijay Kumar: I believe in Dheera Bhagath Roy's message about equality

The film Dheera Bhagath Roy marks the debut of actor Rakesh Dalwai, who stars alongside its female lead, newcomer Sucharita Sahayaraj. As the film prepares for release, director Vijay Kumar, known for Salaga and Bheema, recently unveiled its trailer. From what we've seen, the story is set against the backdrop of the Land Reforms Act.

Karnan S, also making his debut as a director, has written the story, screenplay, and dialogues for the film. The cast includes actors like Sharath Lohitashwa, Ninasam Ashwath, Praveen Gowda HC, Hariram, and others. The film is produced by White Lotus Entertainment and Shree Om Cine Entertainers. It has music by Poornachandra Tejaswi, cinematography by Selvam John, and editing by NM Vishwa.

During the trailer launch, Vijay Kumar expressed his excitement, saying, "Dheera Bhagath Roy is a film about equality, and I support the team because I believe in this message. Stories of struggle resonate with me; they embody justice and integrity, which is why I back this film."

He also acknowledged the challenges of filmmaking, noting, "Making a film is always tough, and it feels even more challenging now—it’s like it takes seven or eight lives to finish one project. But a story like Dheera Bhagath Roy, which combines truth, justice, and integrity, deserves to be told. Hearing the team's journey made me very happy."

He highlighted the need for trust in the police and judiciary, asserting that truth and justice are essential for a better society. He expressed pride in the trailer for Dheera Bhagath Roy, believing that such films should thrive and convey important messages. He encouraged everyone to focus on the story, saying, "When the story wins, we all win." He hopes this film introduces new talent, including a strong cast and director, and extended his best wishes to the entire team. The film is in post-production and is set for a December release.
